Read my story on how I revealed the true name of the secret toy my boy was demanding , and how he enjoys his Bakugan Battle Packs.
Not long ago my 5 year old said to me “I want a pepugan, mammy”.
I researched the web for answers and could not learn anything.
His birthday was coming and I wanted to surprise him with “pepugan”.

One day while he was playing with one of his friends, I inquired the other kid what was a pepugan and he presented me a tiny colored ball that opened up when he pressed it against something metalic. I asked him – what are these called? and he said – bakugan. And then the two young brats arrived to the sitting room making war noises with “pepugan” on their hands. The child’s mum said “Bakugan!!!”.
Ok, I found it, now I had to buy him many.

I did some research and here is what I found:
It is indeed one of the greatest trends in toys for ages 4-10. In case you are having a hard time realizing a present for small kids this christmas, bakugan battle packs are a terrific idea.
Everybody is anticipating it to be even stronger than Pokemon. It was named one of the top toys of 2008 by Time Magazine and Newsday.

Bakugan is a japanese anime animated cartoon series, a card game and many battle brawlers which have different super forces and can fight against each other.

The Bakugan balls can transmute into characters which get a certain amount of points and can defeat the other bakugan battle brawlers with less points.

Each card presents a Bakugan Battle Brawler character.
The Bakugan ball opens up when it lands on a Bakugan card, thereby unlocking and transforming the playing piece into a specific fight position. (it works with some variety of magnetic mechanism that the card activates)
Kids play a simulated ‘battle’ with all the noises and combat faces, that sets which player conquers that particular card.
Maintaining the score of the battle rankings is for older children, but it surely didn’t interfere with the delectation of playing these simulated battles.

I went to the local toy shop and purchased him a Bakugan battle pack and the Bakugan battle arena, which opens up the bakugan balls when they reach a certain place on the gameboard.

His birthday arrived and in the morning I said “What gift do you wish?” – he said instantly “pepugan”, so I was sure he will love it.
To my surprise he seen dissapointed, and then it hit me, he was waiting for the small balls so he did not realize why the box was so heavy.
He tore the paper and when he discovered the Bakugan battle pack, he was so happy, he begun dancing and jumping, I was so thankful.

I love seeing him play with his “pepugan” (he still calls them like that no matter how many times I explained it the real name to him)

if you are a young, trend-setting game fan, then you already know to call this the sector of ‘Bakugan Battle battlers. ‘

Since the anime series debuted, the Bakugan game has taken on a life of its own. The series, Bakugan Battle brawlers, and the game were developed and released in conjunction by Sega Toys and Spin Master. The game uses metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded miniature figures, called Bakugan–small creatures set into conflict by the battle brawlers who wield them.

the tale is about Dan Kuso and his 5 buddies ( Runo, Marucho, Shun, Alice, and Julie ) who, one day, witness random cards falling out of the sky. From this surreal event, they made a card game called Bakugan. The group communally refer to themselves as Battle brawlers having the intend to restore balance between the galaxy of Vestroia and the human world with which it had started to combine. The creatures of Vestroia are called Bakugan, and a noxious Bakugan, Naga, has upset the natural balance by pinching the silent core. Accompanied by a human named Michael, Naga looks for the infinity core, further interrupting the balance between both worlds. Now the Battle battlers find themselves in unceasing battle for the destiny of Vestroia against such enemies as Masquerade, Hal-G, and the Bakugan Naga.

Taking on the job of a Bakugan Battle brawler, each player uses selected’Bakugan warriors’ — fearful creatures like Juggernoids, Fear rippers, and’Robatallians — to earn points against their opponents by rolling them into battle. The Bakugan soldiers take the form of magnetic marbles which right away pop open into Bakugan soldier action figures when rolled onto metal Gate Cards. Players use a bit of creativeness and a lot of methodology to place their Gate Cards, each one impacting on the battle in different ways.

To play Bakugan, players typically set up the game on a board called the Bakugan battle arena and use Bakugan soldiers ( magnetic marbles ), cards, and accessories of their choice ) to start the game. You’ll need Bakugan Balls to duke it out. The new Bakugan balls has become the most favorite of kids and crossed many boundaries. Even three year old kids will love Bakugan because of the Bakugan balls.

The game itself is very simple for the kids to play but some may need the advice of their parents in the starting stage but very soon after, they can play alone.
